If you look on the left navigation bar and up at the top here, you'll notice another method of connecting to Avatar. I've set up a Web based telnet connection so that those of you who don't have the ability to use a telnet client, should, in theory, be able to use this web based one!

I've done a
minor update to the Avatar database, to do with the School of martial arts dummies. They are now at more appropriate levels, so low level players can actually attack them!

Charts have been updated again. Its been quiet here as i've been very busy with work. Sigh. I've finally managed to make phpBB2.0.4 work. It had been bugging me for a while and last weekend I finally managed to sort it out! I've also bought 2 domains to make it simpler to get here:
www.avatardev.co.uk - Points to my BT web pages (in case the org site is not working)
www.avatardev.org.uk - This is located on my machine here at home (the gateway service runs on here too)
Normally there should be no difference between the two, but if for whatever reason the connection to the server is off, you can still access the co.uk site.
For the moment you will still need to use the I.P. address to get to Avatar itself though.

Thanks to my best mate, Stuart for the DJing at the new year's party at Megabowl in Bury. I've never seen people doing the conga across 30 lanes of a bowling alley before - what fun! Do I have any new year's resolutions? Nahh... I know I'd never keep them. I will
try to do more work on Avatar this year, but as always I'll expect real life to kick in and stop me.
